The steel billet induction heating furnace adopts electromagnetic induction heating technology to quickly and uniformly heat steel billets of 150mmx150mmx6000mm. The equipment provides the required heating temperature for the steel billet rolling station through a KGPS 5000 kW medium frequency heating power supply. The steel billet generates eddy currents in the induction coil and achieves uniform heating through spontaneous heating, ensuring that the ideal temperature state is reached before entering the rolling mill.
The induction heating equipment for steel billets is designed with induction heating coils based on the actual size of the customer’s workpiece to ensure temperature uniformity during the heating process. The high-power configuration of KGPS 5000 kW provides the required heat for steel billets in a short period of time, achieving a production efficiency of 30 tons per hour.
The Billet electric heating equipment consists of an induction heating furnace body, a steel billet conveying system, a PLC control system, and an infrared temperature measurement system, which together form an accurate induction heating system to meet customers’ needs for high temperature heating accuracy, temperature uniformity, and large-scale continuous production.
The Billet induction heating equipment not only has advantages in heating speed, but also effectively controls the uniformity and stability of temperature. The PLC control system works in conjunction with the infrared temperature measurement system to monitor the surface temperature of the steel billet in real time and ensure precise control of the heating temperature through feedback adjustment.
